BANGOR — Join Laurie Bowen from the UMaine Cooperative Extension will present the latest information on food safety preservation and the equipment to use 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at 145 Harlow St. She will also give a demonstration of blanching greens in order to freeze them.
Bowen will provide the latest in “turkey tips” as we head into the season of cooking turkeys.
Information about safely sending and receiving food as gifts will be available for you to take home. A survey of interest for future workshops and demonstrations will be taken.
