BRUNSWICK — Brunswick- Topsham Land Trust will hold a presentation “How to Be a Naturalist in the Digital Age” 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at Curtis Memorial Library, Pleasant Street.

The presentation will also describe how Nathaniel Wheelwright conceived of and carried out a year-long weekly series of short Nature Moments, a series of 3 minute videos made in Maine explaining (or capturing) a variety of fascinating and ordinary events.  He will also cover his recent Fulbright-funded efforts to export the model to Columbia, where he worked with students to create Momentos Naturales Colombia.

Nat will also describe how he came to write “The Naturalist’s Notebook,” a beautiful book co-authored with Bernd Heinrich, a guide for people who want to observe what’s happening in their own personal world of nature.

Come learn and expand your understanding of what it means to experience nature.
