Restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, pubs, food trucks, farm stands, breweries, and eateries throughout the state will participate in EqualityMaine’s 3rd annual day of giving Tuesday, Sept. 24, with Dine OUT.
EqualityMaine has been fighting for full equality for LGBTQ+ Mainers for 35 years, and Dine OUT for Equality is an amazing opportunity to help keep us strong for the next 35 years. At a time when our opposition is more emboldened than ever and actively arguing that businesses should have the right to refuse service to LGBTQ+ people, it is critical to show Mainers that they are welcome, safe, supported and loved in their community. By opening your doors and participating in Dine OUT for Equality, you are sending a loud and clear message that LGBTQ+ Mainers are welcomed and celebrated by your business.
Community members are encouraged to Dine OUT with our 2019 partners. By supporting their businesses, you will be in turn supporting EqualityMaine as each business has committed to donate a portion of their daily proceeds to us that day.
