BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Downtown Association will hold its speaker series with Mark Vogelzang 7:30-9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Bowdoin College, Daggett Lounge, Thorne Hall, 255 Main St.
Mark Vogelzang has served as CEO and president of Maine Public since January 2012. He leads a staff of 100 employees at four locations, and reports to a statewide Board of Trustees with an annual operating budget of over $13 million.
Maine Public has approximately 250,000 television viewers each week, and is consistently ranked as one of the most listened to radio stations in Portland and Bangor. Maine Public operates five TV stations and fourteen radio stations, including the Maine Public Classical channel with seven FM stations, and a PBSKids free over the air 24/7 television channel.
Mark will talk about the challenges of reaching an audience in the digital age. He will also discuss the variety of programming available on Maine Public and feature stories about the Brunswick community.
