BANGOR — The Maine China Network will hold its 6th Mid-Autumn Festival 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Bangor Public Library, 145 Harlow St.
The festival will open with dragon dance/lion dance followed by favorite activities from the past: Mooncake making/tasting, tea tasting, try your hands with calligraphy, paper crafts, and fun photo booth.
This year, we are also adding a mahjong table and a card table, so parents can gather and chat over the games, while kids enjoy the crafts.
We will also expand performance section: Gongfu kids, dances, singing, Taiji demonstration, and ending with a fashion show.
We will have door prize drawings throughout the day, so be sure to sign in and get your tickets.
Participation is free, but donations would be greatly appreciated.
