BRUNSWICK — ReVision Energy will have a presentation on going 100 percent solar in your household 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at Curtis Memorial Library, Pleasant Street. The impacts of climate change are becoming increasingly visible in our state and across the nation, and these impacts are directly tied to the increasing carbon emissions in our atmosphere. We need to reduce carbon emissions as quickly as possible to avoid the dangers of sea level rise, intense storms, and warming oceans.
The cost of solar technology has dropped 75 percent in the past ten years, making a solar-electric house more accessible than ever. Using solar to power your heat, hot water, and charge an all-electric car will save you money and bring your carbon footprint close to zero – a crucial step in halting climate change.
This event is free and open to the public.
