BANGOR — The Bangor Land Trust will host the Maine Entomological Society with an infect identification and collection field day 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Walden-Parke Preserve. Bring collection containers, boots, nets or sprays for the sometimes troublesome biting insects, a bag lunch and a big dose of curiosity.

To get there, travel north for miles on Essex Street from the Stillwater Avenue/Essex Street intersection. After passing Church Road on the left, turn right onto Walden Parke Way. Follow Walden Parke Way until you get to Tamarack Trail. Look for parking in the cul-de-sac at the end of the road.

For more information or to RSVP, contact the Bangor Land Trust office at info@bangorlandtrust.org or 207-942-1010.

The field day will start at 10 a.m. and end late afternoon.
