BATH- The Kennebec Estuary Land Trust (KELT) will hold a bookmaking workshop 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at the LOCAL garden, corner of High and Lemont St. Let by Maine Master Naturalist volunteer and book artist, Jill Osgood. This workshop will include hand stitching a few simple pamphlet structures that are perfect for putting in your backpack and taking in to the field. Osgood will also include instruction on leaf printing, specifically with ferns, to add an artistic touch to journal covers.
We ask for a $5 suggested donation to cover the cost of supplies. All materials are provided and no prior experience is necessary. This event is best suited for naturalists 10 years old and older. Space is limited to 15 participants, so registration is required by calling 207-442-8400 or online at kennebecestuary.org.
