BANGOR — The Bangor Land Trust will have a literary discussion with “Backyard Naturalist” columnist Dana Wilde from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at 6 Central Street.
Wilde’s writings on the natural world and on books have appeared locally in the Bangor Daily News, the Working Waterfront, Island Journal and Maine Boats Homes & Harbors, among many others. He has served as a Fulbright scholar in China and South Africa, a NEH fellow and college professor, and holds degrees from the University of Southern Maine and Binghamton University.
His recent book is “Summer to Fall: Notes and Numina from the Maine Woods,” published by North Country Press. He lives in Troy, Maine, with his wife, Bonnie Woellner. Join us for a morning of nature-related literary discussion.
