‘My Next Career Move’ class to be offered at Camden library

CAMDEN — New Ventures Maine, in partnership with the Camden Public Library, will offer My Next Career Move, a free four-week class designed to enable you to take charge of your career and create an action plan to achieve success, starting Tuesday, March 12. The class will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays through April 2 at the library at 55 Main Street.

Learn how your current skills connect to future careers, identify high-growth job fields, explore education and training options and strengthen your resume for a targeted job search.

Graduates of My Next Career Move are eligible to apply for the University of Maine at Augusta GEN Scholarship, to be used at any UMA location.

Melinda Wildes, facilitator for the class, says, “If you are unsure of the direction to take that will both feed your soul and keep food on the table, this is the class for you. In My Next Career Move, you will have the chance to do self-exploration and career exploration, and to develop a plan that will keep you moving forward.”
