The Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor invites you to join us on Sunday, Dec 7, at 10:00 am for our Sunday services. We are located at 120 Park Street, Bangor, just up the hill behind City Hall. We have a vibrant and active religious education program and all children are welcome. This Sunday the Reverend Arthur Vaeni will be in the pulpit. His topic is “When Do Good Fences Make Good Neighbors?” In 1948, the United Nations declared that December 10th would be observed internationally as Human Rights Day in order to acquaint all people with The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In this service, we will seek to understand these fundamental rights through the imagery of Robert Frost’s prominent poem, “Mending Wall.” For more information on UUSB, visit our website at www.uubangor.org or call the office at 207-947-7009.
