PORTLAND, Maine — To celebrate National Lobster Day, Walgreen’s stores in Portland will hold its annual Lobster Roll sale 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, June 13, at the stores at 616 Forest Ave. and 127 Marginal Way.

Money raised will benefit the Robbie Foundation, which helps children and young adults with developmental disabilities throughout the state of Maine. The money is used to buy adaptive equipment, therapy treatments and other services that are not covered by insurance.

Walgreen’s will offer a lobster roll, chips and a soda for $7. Walgreens employees and Robbie Foundation volunteers will deliver lobster rolls to businesses in the greater Portland area who have placed orders of 10 or more. Last year’s lobster roll sale raised $6,000 to help the Robbie Foundation.

For deliveries, call Walgreens on Marginal Way at 771-5631 by Thursday, June 12.
