AUGUSTA — Maine Rep. Roger Reed and Maine Rep. Stacey Guerin were honored to host the 2018 Hermon Hawks Class B State Basketball Championship team and the Class B State Cheerleading Champions on March 29, at the State House. They were introduced on the House Floor as members spoke about their accomplishments this season.

“The Hermon Cheerleaders have been State Champions eight out of the last 10 years and when it comes to Class B cheering, all eyes are on the Hermon Hawks, as the opposition knows they have to bring their ‘A’ game if they are going to take home the trophy,” said Rep. Reed from the House Floor.

“I would like to call attention to the character of these two teams, as we have athletes and coaches of extraordinary character leading these two teams and are a credit to their communities,” said Rep. Guerin.

The teams were recognized in the House of Representatives with Legislative sentiments of recognition.
