October 19, 2016 –Augusta, ME– The Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) of New England is hosting the Boots to Business Reboot, Introduction to Entrepreneurship, open to all Veterans and their spouses, on Wednesday, November 2 from 8:00am to 4:30pm, at the Augusta Armory.

The Boots to Business Reboot program introduces Veterans to the fundamentals of business ownership, and leads them through the key steps for evaluating business concepts and developing a business plan. The program will also introduce participating veterans to a network of lifetime business support available locally across the U.S. by introducing them to SBA’s network of Veteran Business Outreach Centers, Women’s Business Centers, Small Business Development Centers and SCORE Counselors.

The Introduction to Entrepreneurship course on November 2 is open to Veterans of all eras, Servicemembers (including members of the National Guard and Reserves) and their spouses. The course is instructed by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and its partners.

“We are very excited to partner with the VBOC of New England for this event during National Veterans Small Business Week,” said Marilyn Geroux, SBA District Director. “SBA is extremely proud to support the military and veteran community, and our Boots to Business Reboot workshop is one of the many ways we can show that support to the National Guard, Reserves, Veterans and their families.”

Online registration is available. Please visit: www.CWEonline.org/VBOC . For more information and any questions, please call the VBOC of New England office at 844-404-2171.
