BANGOR — In honor of the 10th anniversary of its Penobscot County Fund, the Maine Community Foundation will host a workshop for nonprofits. Originally scheduled for Nov. 19, because of weather concerns it has been rescheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10 at the Bangor Public Library, 145 Harlow St., with a snow date of Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Workshop session includes: Tips on how to write a strong grant application; Overview of MaineCF’s competitive grant programs, with emphasis on the Community Building Grant Program (deadline Feb. 15); Presentation on agency funds and how nonprofits can invest their assets through MaineCF.
The workshop is free and open to the public. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org. Registration is required as space is limited. Registrants of the Nov. 19 workshop do not need to re-register for this workshop. If the workshop is postponed due to weather, we will email all registered guests the day before the workshop.
