PORTLAND, Maine – Following up on their 2017 success, the Maine Brewers’ Guild will host the third annual New England Craft Brew Summit, on March 29, 2018, at Holiday Inn By the Bay in Portland, Maine. A limited number of sponsorship and vendor exhibition opportunities remain.

The 2017 New England Craft Brew Summit drew more than 500 attendees, from 13 states, and more than 50 breweries from across the country were represented. With frequent accolades by craft beer tourists and one of the highest numbers of breweries per capita, Maine has solidified itself as a craft beer leader across the globe.

“As consumer preferences continue to trend toward locally made craft beer, this year’s Summit will explore how breweries can continue to grow their market share, while maintaining the focus on their local brand,” said Sean Sullivan, executive director of the Maine Brewers’ Guild. “There is a healthy tension between growth and roots that we’re calling out with this year’s conference theme, The Big Market for Local Beer.”

Presented by Bernstein Shur, the full-day conference will feature live talks and panel discussions from brewers and brewery owners, blended with practical advice on a wide range of topics currently impacting the craft brew industry, from brewery safety to standing out in a crowded marketplace. In a nod to the growing importance of tasting rooms and retail beer sales, organizers have added a new track of seminars focused on hospitality & tasting room management. As part of this track, available to all attendees, Tim Brady, the Brewers Association’s Beer Server Training Manual Instructor, will be presenting his talk “Your Service Sucks” – That Guy on Yelp, an engaging look into the importance of customer service.

This year’s expanded Summit is expected to top 600 attendees and will feature new opportunities for sponsors and exhibitors. Registration for attendees is open and individual tickets can be purchased at https://www.nebrewsummit.com/register/.

Sponsors and exhibitors: Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are available. Questions and inquiries can be directed to info@mainebrewersguild.org or 207-619-7350.
