BANGOR — Eastern Maine Development Corporation is pleased to welcome loan officer/credit analyst Tom Stewart to its lending department. Stewart brings over 20 years of industry experience to the team.
Working with start-ups and existing businesses statewide, Eastern Maine Development Corporation partners with funding institutions including the U.S. Small Business Administration, Finance Authority of Maine and other organizations to offer financing alternatives.
“Tom’s lending and relationship management experience will continue to foster partnerships, and help Maine businesses receive the critical funding they need to grow,” said director of Business Lending & Investments, Joshua McIntyre.
A graduate of the University of Maine in Machias, Stewart previously worked as a Revenue Cycle Analyst for Northern Light Health and as branch manager at Down East Credit Union. He joins the corporations new Portfolio & Business Development specialist, Nancy Newell, longtime Senior Portfolio manager, Rhonda Amsden, and director of Lending & Investments, Joshua McIntyre.
