Joanne Lauterbach joins Community Health Options as controller

LEWISTON  Kevin Lewis, CEO of Community Health Options, recently announced that Joanne Lauterbach has joined the organization as controller, reporting to Chief Financial Officer Ed Vozzo.  Her responsibilities will include implementing accounting policies, controls and reporting procedures; overseeing budget preparation; and preparing material for internal and external audits.

Joanne brings twenty-one years of finance and accounting experience to her new role, including nine years as director, regulatory reporting and regional director, accounting and reporting for Anthem, Inc.  Prior to that, she spent ten years at Ernst & Young in New York, as senior manager, National Accounting Standards and as an audit manager, among other roles. Lauterbach received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Saint John’s University, Queens, NY.
