Celebrate the enchantment of the seashore. Summer is a perfect time to spend time linking crafts and jewelry projects with your children or grandchildren to Maine’s rugged shoreline and beaches. Take your sea glass jewelry skills to the next level by coming to Lynne Thompson’s very popular “Sea Glass as Wearable Art” workshop on August 14 at 3:00 p.m. Learn how to make unique, one of a kind earrings for yourself or a friend using your own hands, hidden artistic talents and creativity. Using sea glass and wire Lynne will show you how to design and craft earrings that fit your lifestyle and personality. Use the materials that Lynne will provide or make the earrings a bit more special by using pieces of sea glass that you have collected. If you have a pair of needle nosed pliers please bring them with you. Participant fee $30. Do not be left out please remember to register in advance for Lynne’s workshop by calling 563-1363.

Community members across all generations are welcome. Home schooled students, their teachers and parents are encouraged to register and participate in Lynne’s workshop where you leave with your wearable creations.
