The Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Support Group will meet Tuesday, Sept. 9. The speaker will be Erica James, speech therapist at Waldo County General Hospital. She will be talking about how Parkinson’s disease impacts speech and techniques and therapies that can help you or your loved ones cope with this.
This group is open for people coping with Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorders, their families and support friends.
The group meets from 10 – 11:30 am in the Education Center to the left of Waldo County General Hospital. The talk and discussion will end at around 11 am then we break for refreshments and then come back together for a short time.
