The holiday movie season starts early, as seen by the release of Jim Carrey’s “A Christmas Carol” last weekend, and continues until Christams Day. Studios put plenty of effort and money into making the next break-out hit but not all of them strike a chord with audiences. These are my choice for the 12 blockbusters to watch over the next two months: A Christmas Carol, 2012, Twilight Saga: New Moon, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Road, The Princess & the Frog, The Lovely Bones, Avatar, Sherlock Holmes, The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, Alvin & the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel, Nine.
Not all of these films will succeed, or even make a profit, over the next several months.
