OLD TOWN — Hirundo Wildlife Refuge will hold its first of a series of 10 workshops focusing on foraging in Maine titled, “Wild Foraging With Respect and Skill” 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Hirundo Wildlife Refuge.

This monthly foraging series begins with an inspirational kickoff session on March 9 to grow the roots of safe and skillful foraging. Each monthly workshop can be taken as a stand-alone class. We will also brainstorm what foraging and wild herbal projects everyone is interested in, organize these by season.
