HAMPDEN — The Hampden Historical Society will hold its annual Christmas Bazaar 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Society’s Kinsley House Museum, 83 Main Road South.
The old fashioned Bazaar is sure to please as there will be a little bit of something for everyone. Featured will be holiday items, ornaments and decorated wreaths, holiday arrangements, fancywork, antiques, a food sale and even a white elephant room. The Society will also be selling tickets for the holiday raffle which includes over $1,000 worth of gift certificates and gifts from local businesses. The drawing will be held at 2 p.m. the day of the Bazaar. And, Santa may even make an appearance.
The Christmas Bazaar is the Society’s largest fundraiser of each year and the funds raised are used to help maintain its historic buildings and grounds. Hampden Historical Society is a completely volunteer non-profit organization and has been serving Hampden and the region since 1970.
