OLD TOWN — While the planning of the Greater Old Town Bicentennial Celebration continues, we, as a committee, have decided it would be prudent to change the date (to be announced later). Changing the date will allow our teachers, school staff, city officials and churches the opportunity to focus their time and energy on meeting the needs of our community during the COVID-19 crises.
Our goal remains to have the entire community involved, which means you! Please take a moment to think about how you can play an integral part in our Bicentennial event. Possibilities include sending a check in any amount to the City of Old Town (marked Bicentennial Event in the memo line), donate raffle items, volunteer and/or create an exhibit. The possibilities are endless.
For more information on how you can get involved, please contact Gerri-Ana Harvey, event coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org or 207-745-0388. Donors will be listed on a thank you poster at the event.
