Roast marshmallows, make s’mores and gather around the campfire at the Jesup Memorial Library on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. to share your best campfire stories. Is there a story that you share every time you go camping, a ghost story or is there a killer on the loose? We want to hear your best, spooky, ghoulish or funny campfire story.
“Campfire Stories” is a project from husband and wife team Dave and Ilyssa Kyu. They are traveling the country visiting National Parks to hear the tall tales and fables that entertain us as they connect us to the land and to each other as we sit around a campfire. They are spending a month in Acadia National Park to start their journey.
Dave and Ilyssa Kyu make up the Kyu Collective, an art and design studio based in Philadelphia. Their work explores the connection between art, design, nature and communities.
