PORTLAND — More than 200 professionals from the Greater Portland business community gathered at TIQA Pan Mediterranean on Thursday, June 28, for The second annual Ignition Awards hosted by PROPEL and the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce to honor local businesses who truly stand out from the crowd, and the first-ever Maine Young Professional of the Year, Alison Siviski.
Siviski currently serves as Community & Communications Manager at the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute. In addition, she volunteers as Chair of the Public Relations Committee for the Junior League of Portland, ME, coaches Varsity Cheerleading at Deering High School, as well as with other local organizations.
In addition to Young Professional of the Year, four local businesses were also recognized:
- Hustler of the Year: High Roller Lobster Co.
- Social Entrepreneurship (Small Business): Mast Landing Brewing
- Social Entrepreneur of the Year: Revision Energy
- Economic Stimulation Award (Large Business): Certify
