Scott is a graduate of Fort Fairfield High School and earned an Associates Degree in Law Enforcement from Southern Maine Community College.  He has also earned a Bachelors Degree from the University of Southern Maine in Criminology.  Scott spent the next fifteen years as a human services employment agent for the Maine Department of Health and Human Services.  In 2017, Scott obtained his Maine multi-line property casualty license as well as the Maine life, health and accident licenses at which time he joined the State Farm Insurance Company in Presque Isle.

“Scott’s years of hard work at the Department of Health and Human Services has prepared him well for a career in insurance,” said Anderson. “His outgoing personality and empathy for the uncertainty in people’s lives is precisely what I look for in an agent.”

Scott resides in New Sweden with his wife, Joyce, and their two sons, Caleb and Austin.
