What if during her October 17, 10:00 a.m. “The Secrets of Dr. Tan’s Balance Method Revealed” workshop at Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center, 521 Main Street in Damariscotta licensed acupuncturist Sharon Gordon told you that you can heal foot pain or neuropathy by treating the hand using acupuncture? What if she told you shoulder pain could be relieved by treating the hip area with acupuncture? It’s all based on the premise that each part of a human body communicates with every other part of the body.

The body is a Holographic map: So treating an area that is a microcosm of the body like the hand, foot or limb can treat a corresponding area. This is called the Balance Method.

The late Dr. Richard Tan, a San Diego based OMD taught his Balance Method to Acupuncturists Nationally & Internationally. Dr. Tan was a pioneer in using this method to alleviate pain, insomnia, immune disorders, anxiety & depression and many other causes of disease. It’s a simple system that has helped thousands of patients.

Sharon Gordon, Master Acupuncturist, NY & Maine licensed & nationally board certified, had the good fortune to take 3 of his trainings and to shadow Dr. Tan in his clinic in 2002. Join Sharon on October 17 as she explains Dr. Tan’s Balance Method & demonstrates on a willing member of the audience. You’ll be amazed at the results!

Participation Fee: $10. Register and attend Harriet’s workshop and discover how the DiSC model provides a common language that people can use to better understand themselves and to adapt their behaviors with others. Community members across all generations are welcome at this workshop. To register call 563-1363.
