2018 Camp Scholarships Available

Do you know someone who is interested in birding, marine science or natural history? Downeast Audubon is offering scholarships to summer camp for teens ages 10 – 19, as well as one educator scholarship. All scholarships cover the full cost for one session at the following camps: Acadia Institute of Oceanography— Introductory, Intermediate or Advanced Marine Science Camps; Huntsman Marine— Marine Mammals and Seabirds Camp; National Audubon— Hog Island Educator’s Week or Mountains to Sea Birding for Teens Camp. You will find an application form at www.downeastaudubon.org by clicking on the education tab. Last year’s recipients all had fantastic camp experiences, so please take advantage of this opportunity. Student applicants must submit a letter of interest in 400 words or less and a recommendation from a teacher. All application materials must be received by Friday, March 9 at Downeast Audubon, P.O.
