BANGOR — Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center welcomes David Pantino, MD, to Northern Light Cardiothoracic Surgery.
Dr. Pantino received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Towson University with a BS in molecular biology, biochemistry and bioinformatics. He completed his internship and residency at Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey and fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Pantino is UNOS (United Network for Organ Sharing) certified for heart and lung transplants and holds certifications by the American Board of Surgery. He is licensed in Advanced Trauma Life Support and is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. Dr. Pantino specializes in robotic lung surgery, general thoracic and cardiac surgery, and heart valve surgery, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
