Cooking Journal Entry #2 11/02/09

Lunch today is going to be Olive Garden knock offs! LOL! We are going to have Steak Toscano-> Grilled steak with italian spices and olive oil. I am going to make a quick infused olive oil and marinate the steak in it for a while and also drizzle it on before serving.

For side dishes I am going to have creamstyle corn and roasted potatoes http://www.olivegarden.com/recipes/recipe_search/recipe_detail.asp?recipeID=365859 I am going to use the same oil on the potatoes as the steak to carry the flavor around the dish. Also instead of red potatoes I am going to use blue potatoes because I have about 50lbs sitting around from a friends potato farm that he let us pick for FREE! (gotta luv ya Jay!)
And for dessert I am going to serve the Chocolate Gelato that I made last week with a carmal sauce topping!
