This year marks the 24th annual Winterberry Fair at Union’s People’s United Methodist Church. The Fair will be held Saturday, November 5th. Doors open at 7:30 AM. Customers may browse until 1PM through several sale areas to buy baked goods and hand crafted items as well as holiday ornaments and gifts. Orders will be taken for custom made Christmas wreaths. Breakfast and lunch will be served in the expanded café area. There are gift certificates as door prizes for the Fair.
The Winterberry Fair of Union is an effort by many members of the congregation. In addition to the holiday favorites of delectable food items and lovely crafts, there are books, jewelry, “like-new” gifts, collectibles and the harvest area. Several church members who are artisans will have their own tables to sell handmade items.
Get a head start on your Thanksgiving and Christmas shopping while enjoying a welcoming, festive atmosphere. There is something for everyone. Lois’ café serves a wonderful meal to start your day AND to warm your soul at midday. Her menu is renowned ~ so come early before it sells out!
The Winterberry Fair organizers agree, “We are blessed to have many of our members who share their time, talents and energy at Winterberry Fair to help raise money for the work of the church locally and beyond.”
