Bucksport Regional Health Center to welcome new physician in February

ELLSWORTH — Bucksport Regional Health Center is pleased to announce that Thomas Bugbee, MD, will join the BRHC team at the Ellsworth location, 37 Commerce Park, effective Friday, Feb. 1. He will be accepting new patients.

Dr. Bugbee earned his medical degree, with honors, from the University of California, Davis, and completed his residency at Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster, PA Family Practice.

Dr. Bugbee is certified with the American Board of Family Physicians, and is a member of the board of directors of the Maine Academy of Family Physicians. He has an extensive experience, having worked as a family physician, an emergency room/ambulatory center physician, and a hospitalist at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital.

“We are looking forward to working with Dr. Bugbee,” said Carol Carew, CEO, BRHC. “He is well respected in the community, has a strong skill-set and comprehensive experience. We are fortunate to be able to add him to our team of outstanding providers.”
