BUCKSPORT — Dr. Bruce Milzman, DDS, has joined the dental team at Bucksport Regional Health Center. Dr. Milzman is from Washington, D.C. and has been practicing dentistry for more than 30 years.
He earned his undergraduate degree, with honors, in biological sciences, from Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania, and his dental degree from the University of Maryland Dental School. After practicing in the inner city of Baltimore, primarily performing emergency dental treatment, and then in Washington, D.C., focusing on restorative dental services, saving and replacing teeth that were lost to damage and disease, he yearned for a different environment — the kind that Bucksport can offer.
“We are very lucky to have Dr. Milzman on our team,” said Carol Carew, CEO. “He brings a wealth of experience and skill to our dental office. He is a firm believer that dental care is paramount to overall health care, which aligns with the mission of BRHC.”
Dr. Milzman is married and has two teenage sons. He enjoys exploring his new Maine surroundings and reading books on history and science.
