I really don’t need to write this page any more. I will just let the ladies and gents of the agency continue doing what they do and look for the tags on Facebook.
Thank you, Amanda.
“Our police department: Bangor Maine Police Department is kind of a big deal. They’re a bit famous. During our evening walk last night, sat these two very kind policemen. Keeping our neighborhood safe, and giving Everett her first taste of what a police interaction should be.
Also, I can imagine that getting a police uniform on everyday requires a lot, they carry all sorts of things. But to Officer Kyle (sorry didn’t catch your last name) part of your uniform is police badge stickers to give out to kiddos, and that’s just awesome.
Thank you Bangor PD for all you do, and amidst your popularity staying humble and giving off that small town feel.”
This was nice to find in among the others. In one, we were tagged because we didn’t find their car keys, and others tagged us because we did something marginally dumb.
For the record, we do dumb things from time to time. All we can do is dust off the dark blue pants and continue to try our best to be our best.
Similar to most of you, we were all recruited from the human race. A group notorious for screwing up.
We are prime examples of this strange and interesting group of people.
We appreciate the kind notes.
Keep your hands to yourself, leave other people’s things alone, and be kind to one another.
We will be here.
