Join K. Stephens for the release and book signing of her debut novel, The Ghost Trap, the story of Jamie Eugley, a young lobsterman with the grinding responsibilities of a head-injured fiancée and mounting trap wars. The Ghost Trap is an award-winning finalist in the Literary Fiction category of the National Best Books 2009 Awards, sponsored by USA Book News.
Accompanying Stephens is a 4th generation Maine lobsterman, Ryan Post, creator of educational DVD, Maine Buggin, who’ll show how traps work, how territories are laid and the imaginary lines that divide them.
Working together in a way audiences have never seen, Stephens and Post will splice fictional excerpts with true tales on the water–staging a fast, exciting presentation for those interested in the hard-working, lifestyle that goes with Maine lobster fishing.
