Bangor Savings Bank names Kimberly Pope director of consumer banking

BANGOR – Bangor Savings Bank recently named Kimberly A. Pope as senior vice president and director of consumer banking.

Pope brings to Bangor Savings more than 20 years of banking, sales management, lending and leadership experience in both retail and commercial bank channels. Most recently, she served as the New England North Regional Director of Business Banking for Citizens Bank.

Pope will direct the Bangor Savings consumer bank network of 58 branches across Maine and New Hampshire, and the branch teams that are passionate about building relationships with clients to help them achieve their dreams. She will be based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Pope earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire, and certifications in Employee Benefits Management from McKay Barlow Institute, and Commercial Credit Management from Moody’s Analytics|Omega Performance.

She currently serves on the New Hampshire Small Business Development Center Advisory Board and regularly volunteers for several local community organizations. Pope resides in Rye, New Hampshire, and enjoys the arts, tennis, golf, travel and many outdoor adventures with her family and friends.
