SCARBOROUGH, Maine — The Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter, has announced the following upcoming Early Stage Social Engagement Programs for the week of Aug. 25.

Advance registration for all programs is required:

— Outdoors Club Indoors: Candlepin Bowling, Aug. 26; $10 per person.

The Maine Chapter’s Early Stage Social Engagement Program is open to those living with early stage Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias and their care partners. The program encourages these individuals to “get out, get active and get connected” by engaging in quality, compelling and fun activities. The focus of the program is to make the most of the time available to those living with dementia.
