The Eagerly anticipated new book by Emeric Spooner has just made it to Amazon, entitled “In Search of Maine Urban Legends.” I was privileged enough to receive an advance copy.

If you live in Hancock, Penobscot or Waldo counties this book is going to be of great interest to you. It goes into depth on the Jonathan Buck Witch’s Curse; Charlie the Elephant and his rampage through the streets; but the main focus is on a female serial killer from Penobscot County. Careful not to give any details away, the case is as shocking and gruesome as it gets. Then along the way he discovered a second Female Serial Killer with almost the exact methods as the first.

To my knowledge Maine has never been thought to have Female Serial Killers, to find 2 that qualify, is truly a worthy news item. The Website Maine Supernatural at http://home.myfairpoint.net/espooner has the book link for Amazon and details.
