WINTER HARBOR, Maine — The 17th annual Schoodic Scramble will be held Saturday, Sept. 13, at Grindstone Golf Course in Winter Harbor.
Volunteers from all over Hancock County will be on hand to provide the amenities that make this event a “must play” for golfers.
Proceeds from the Schoodic Scramble benefit the Eleanor Widener Dixon Memorial Clinic in Gouldsboro, an out-patient department of Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. Lead sponsors of the scramble are Edith Dixon and Alan Goldstein, with additional support provided by Darling’s Chevrolet, Sorrento Dental, Camden National Bank, Rooster Brother, Kelco Industries, and Merrill Furniture.
The tournament fee of $75 includes 18 holes of golf, continental breakfast, lobster stew, ice cream sundaes, wine, cheese, smoked salmon, tournament hat, hole-in-one opportunity as well as prizes for men’s, ladies, and couples flights.
