State police traced the theft of two golf carts each worth $7,000 from a Hollis golf course to two York County men, state police said Wednesday.
The Portland Press Herald reported that Seth Lavoie, 27, of Saco, and Nicholas Berthiaume, 34, of Dayton were both charged with felony theft. Lavoie was also charged with violating conditions of release and Berthiaume with receiving stolen property.
Salmon Falls Country Club in Hollis reported the thefts on June 9 and June 16. Investigators found the carts at homes in Dayton and Hollis. Both men are due to appear Oct. 30 in York County Superior Court, the Press Herald reported.
