Two men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Bangor on early Wednesday in which both allegedly climbed in through a window of an apartment on First Street and stole what police described as household items.
Residents at 67 First St. told police that two men knocked at a door at about 4 a.m., then entered through a window when no one answered. One had a handgun and they stole several household items, police said in a statement released on Wednesday.
Nikolas Raines, 28, whom police described as a transient, and James Rogers, 19, of Boston, were both charged Wednesday with class A robbery, class C criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and class B theft of a firearm. Rogers was also charged with class E failure to provide correct name and date of birth, police said.
Rogers also faces a charge, aggravated assault with a knife, out of Boston, police said.
