Police arrested a suspect in the killing of a man who was found in the parking lot of a Bangor nightclub early Saturday morning.

Rayshaun Moore, 34, was arrested Saturday afternoon on a murder charge, according to Detective Lt. Brent Beaulieu. The victim was identified as Demetrius Snow, 25, of Bangor.

Bangor police and fire responded to a report of an injured man at Half Acre Nightclub’s parking lot at 190 Harlow St. around 1:15 a.m. Snow had been in a fight that resulted in serious injuries and was taken to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, where he died, police said.

An autopsy was scheduled for Sunday morning at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta.

Half Acre Nightclub said in a Facebook post that it has been working with police, but that neither man was a customer.

“After reviewing nearby video surveillance, it was determined … the parties involved never set foot inside of Half Acre,” the post reads.
