Maine firefighters save baby raccoon that fell from tree

Augusta firefighters saved this baby raccoon after it fell from a tree on Monday.

Firefighters in Augusta on Monday saved a baby raccoon that had fallen from a tree.

Firefighters Darin White and Anthony Thibodeau rescued the small raccoon after it fell from a tree on North Street, the Augusta Fire Department said.

The raccoon was turned over the Maine Warden Service and will undergo rehabilitation, the fire department said.
