OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine — A convicted sex offender is accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl in Old Orchard Beach.

Police arrested 40-year-old Jeremy Buckley, of Old Orchard Beach, on Feb. 8 and charged him with sexual abuse of a minor, according to a Monday news release.

Police say Buckley was having sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl that allegedly began in 2015.

Buckley is a registered sex offender due to previous convictions.

Buckley was taken to the York County Jail and was released on $10,000 bail on Feb. 13.

His bail conditions include no contact with the victim, children under the age of 16, and not to be within 500 feet of any primary, elementary, middle or high school.
