Game notes: UMaine has won five in a row while the Retrievers have lost nine of their past 10. UMaine unleashed 15 3-pointers in their earlier win over UMBC. The Black Bears have a first-place showdown with Hartford next Wednesday but cannot overlook UMBC. The Retrievers have been plagued by turnovers, averaging 18 per game in AE play.
