Man arrested in Augusta convenience store robbery

An Augusta man was arrested Saturday afternoon in connection with a robbery the day before at a Big Apple convenience store.

Justyn E. Wilson, 20, was charged with robbery, according to Deputy Chief Kevin D. Lully of the Augusta Police Department.

Augusta police about 12:10 a.m. Friday received a report that one or more suspects entered the Big Apple at 36 Stone St. and threatened a clerk before leaving with an undisclosed sum of money.

Wilson was arrested about 3:40 p.m. Saturday, but Lully said police believe others were involved in the robbery and continue to investigate.
