A woman was killed Friday afternoon in a one-car crash on Interstate 95 in Carmel, according to Maine State Police.
A couple from Cambridge were traveling north on I-95 at about 1:30 p.m. when the driver, 72-year-old Walter Hallett, lost control in the snowy conditions. The GMC pickup truck went off the road and overturned, according to Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
His wife, 66-year-old Kathryn Hallet, was killed. Walter Hallett suffered minor injuries, McCausland said.
