Maine game wardens have identified two men believed to have been involved in a hunting incident in which a man was struck in the face with birdshot.
Wardens say the victim, a 55-year-old Casco man, was struck Monday morning in Gorham on the first day of pheasant season.
Wardens said the victim interacted briefly with two men who fled after the shooting. But wardens said Tuesday that the men had been located and were cooperating.
Game wardens are working with the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office on this case.
