Richard Bean, who was wearing a helmet, was the 102nd person to die in a traffic crash in Maine this year.
The crash took place on the North River Road, at the intersection with Church Hill Road, when a pickup pulled out of a parking lot and into the path of Bean’s motorcycle, Maine Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said late Saturday in a news release
Bean died of his injuries at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, McCausland said.
